Bruce Douglas Shaw, 87, of Ramona, California passed away on Tuesday, February 6th 2018 at Palomar Hospital. Born in Scotia Junction, Ontario, Canada to Robert and Elizabeth Shaw he has lived in Ramona with his family since 1976.
  
Bruce is survived by his wife Betty of 46 years, children Daniel Shaw (Danielle), Jamie Greene (Patrick), and his awesome granddaughters Jade & Danika and sisters Roberta Wellard and Marion Douglas (Alan). Bruce was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
 
Bruce raised his children in Ramona and was very active in Pop Warner & 4-H. He was an Engineer for The Phone Company for 30 years and after retirement he enjoyed being the owner of Shaw’s Hawgs in Ramona. On most days you would find Bruce tinkering away on his property, fixing everything that broke!

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 10th at Bonham Bros & Stewart Mortuary www.bonhammortuary.com at 321 12th Street Ramona, CA 92065 and then         please join us for a catered reception to follow.
