Sandy Elmore - Long time faithful North County Bluegrass and Folk Club (NCBFC) member, Wife of First Tuesday photographer Robert Elmore.  Sandy has succumbed to a brief battle with lung cancer.  Sandy was born on March 28, 1946 to the McCoy family of Huron, South Dakota.  She and her husband Robert, have been NCBFC members for 15 years and rarely missed a First Tuesday and have regularly attended the Third Wednesday open mic sessions.  Robert has served as NCGFC's official photographer for the past several years.  Robert and Sandy met in Ramona 46 years ago and recently celebrated 43 years of marriage.  Robert says Sandy's main hobby was Bluegrass.  Yeah, Sandy!!

Sandy always had a nice, warm smile and pleasant greeting for both friends and strangers new to the club.  The couple has two children, John Robert and his wife Rue of Ramona, and daughter Sheila Lewis from Phoenix, as well as two grandchildren, Makaela and Gavin.  Sandy also has a brother in Texas and another in Missouri.

Rest in peace Sandy, we will miss you!
