Frederick J. Dickelman, 67, of Ramona, California died Friday, June 5, at his home. Fred was a loving father to his children, Gina Jacoby, 31, of Ramona, with whom he lived, and Lloyd Dickelman, 39, of Brigantine, New Jersey. He was also a loving grandfather to Seth, Lucille, Charlotte, and Victoria.
Fred served in the US Air Force, was a police officer in Highlands, NJ, worked for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, and was a truck driver for various companies for many years. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in Kearny, East Keansburg, Highlands, Bricktown, and Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, through the years.
He is predeceased by his wife Nancy Coursey (2006), and by his wife of a recent marriage, Barbara Simms (2014). In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is survived by his siblings Gary Dickelman of Annandale, VA, Mary Reedy of Toms River, NJ, and Susan Dickelman of Toms River, NJ.
