Lorraine Leone Ketterer, 91, passed away April 21, 2015, at Pomerado  Hospital in Poway.  She resided in Ramona, California for 40 years.  Born June 5,1923, in Great Falls, Montana, she was raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the daughter of Albert Roach and Mildred Jacobs.

She became a registered nurse and worked in San Francisco where she met Frank R. Ketterer.  They were married on Treasure Island, on January 19, 1945 and spent many years traveling to different duty stations while Frank served in the US Navy.  They raised three children, James (Susan) Ketterer, Diane (Larry) Tagle and Laurie Engel.  Lorraine is also survived by ten grandchildren, Kim, Keri, Scott, Rene, Erin, Mark, Angela, Katherine, David and Jacob and 11 great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind two sisters and two brothers. 

Lorraine enjoyed tending flowers, including  decorating the altar for Sunday Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Ramona.  She was an avid stamp collector and member of the Altar and Rosary Society.  

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Monday, April 27th at 10:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary CatholicChurch with her funeral Mass following at 11:00 am. A private burial with be held on Tuesday at Miramar National Cemetery.
