Tony Edward Funk, much loved son and brother, passed away on July 25, 2016. Tony was a resident of Ramona, California for many years.
He was raised in Spring Valley, California and graduated from Mt. Miguel High School in 1976. Tony played quarterback on the varsity Matador's football team. Football and music were his major passions. He wrote and sang many songs and performed at various events. Tony did a very good "Elvis" impersonation which he greatly enjoyed performing. Tony worked for a legal firm for many years.
He is survived by his parents, Alice and Jeff Funk of Ramona, brothers Mike Odgen of Seattle, Washington and Dan Funk of San Diego, and sister Sonja Funk of San Diego. Tony is also survived by stepbrother Tim Lyons of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and stepsister Chris Alexander of Canyon, Texas. Final arrangements are pending. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future time.
Tony will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
