At Bonham Bros. & Stewart Mortuary and Cremation Service we are extremely proud to have served and continue to serve our local veterans that make up a large part of our community.

As veteran specialists we will guide you through the full process for burial in Ft Rosecrans National Cemetery, Riverside National Cemetery and Miramar National Cemetery. We will assist you at any of the VA cemeteries in the United States.

Who is eligible? To be eligible for burial at a national cemetery you must have been discharged or separated form active duty under conditions other than dishonorable and then have completed the required period of service. US Armed Forces members that die on active duty are also eligible as are spouses and dependent children of eligible living and deceased veterans.

Burial benefits in the National Cemetery include the gravesite itself, a military headstone, burial vault and perpetual care. Burial flags can be obtained from the mortuary to utilize for military honors and/or to take home.
