Apolinaria Lomeli Brockman
07/23/1925 – 0829/2021

Poli or Señora Poli, as she was known by friends, was the most generous person
in this world. She helped, sheltered, and fed many people and animals in her
life. All her life she worked at manual jobs because she did not have a formal
education but was incredibly wise. Poli loved new experiences. She was in
Israel visiting friends during the Seven Day War and visited a variety of
regions in Mexico and the United Stated. She took care of her grandchildren
and instilled a love of animals and plants which were her passion.  She was a
devout Catholic that read the Bible and religious books daily. She was
physically and mentally active until the end.  

Her memory of her childhood, growing up years and working experiences were
always on her mind. She was a prolific crocheter all her life and many were
privileged to receive some of her work. Friends and relatives that had passed
were what she missed the most and prayed for often. She went peacefully in her
home as she wished. May Grandma Poli be in our heart for a long time. Say a
prayer for her.

A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  The Rosary will be recited at 10am and the Mass will follow at 11am.  Poli was laid to rest in a private service at Nuevo Memory Gardens in Ramona.
