Robert Edward Jones Jr.

In loving memory of Robert Edward Jones, Jr., 1968-2020. 

A lifelong resident of San Diego, Robert graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1986, where he was active in Sea Cadets.  Robert loved his country, the military, history and all things Western.  He was an avid modeler, re-enactor, painter and gamer, attended Comic-Con from its early years, and in later years became an active Steampunker.  Robert loved his time spent as a cowboy action shooter through SASS and working on various creative projects for games, literature and digital arts, enjoyed fishing and camping, barbequing, cooking and sharing new recipes, adored Disneyland and Christmas, and movies and music of all types.  Robert never met someone he didn’t like, everyone he met became a friend, and he considered many of his friends family.  He loved meeting people, making friends, and sharing his passions with everyone.  He lived his life with faith, joy and love, and his smile, his spirit and his heart will be missed. 

Robert leaves behind loving family and friends too numerous to name. 

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association or the veteran's organization of your choice - or anywhere else your memory of Robert calls you to.

Service will be held 10 a.m. on July 18th, virtual attendance details to be posted when available.
