Jack Carl Schwaesdall
June 15, 1955 – May 3, 2018
Jack was born and raised in San Diego, CA then moved to Ramona, CA in the late 1990’s and resided there until his death.
After several years of many health problems, Heaven gained another “Rock-Star” on May 3, 2018 due to complications following open heart surgery.
Jack had a big personality and lived life to the fullest. He was extremely loyal to his family and friends. All who knew him will never forget him. A Roofer by trade, but his real love was his music. Jack learned to play the guitar from his father, Ed when he was very young. He started playing professionally during his middle-school years and went on to assemble or play with more than a dozen bands in the years to come. Many will remember him most recently as the lead guitar player for the cover band “Coldfire” as well as playing with various Jazz musicians for the annual “Concerts in the Park” for the San Diego Country Estates each summer.
He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Jack was born June 15, 1955, the youngest son of Brigida (Vickie) and Edward Schwaesdall, preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Shelley Schwaesdall, his 3 step-daughters: Jennifer, Megan and Lindsey McNerney, and his older siblings: Mary Frances Schwaesdall of Ramona, CA; Paul Schwaesdall of Shakopee, MN; John Schwaesdall of Ramona, CA, and Steve Schwaesdall of Portland, OR.
His service will be held on June 2, 2018, 10:00am at First Congregational Church 404 D Street Ramona, CA 92065.
