Judy Ann Johnson (Hall) passed away on May 31, 2019 at the age of 59 in San Diego, CA.  She was born on July 10, 1959 and was raised by her loving parents Marcus Hall and Jane Hall (Heingartner) in Palmdale along with her brother, Daniel Hall.  
She was brought up in the Catholic Church. Her faith in God was an important part of her life. Judy loved sports and grew up riding dirt bikes in the desert, playing tennis and softball. She moved to San Diego to attend San Diego State University and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. She enjoyed cheering on her favorite San Diego teams: the Chargers and Padres. Later she earned her teaching credential from National University. Judy was a teacher for 20 years in the San Diego Unified School District. She loved it when former students let her know they appreciated her hard work and dedication. 
Judy always had an artistic side. She was a skilled painter. She loved signing in the choir at Santa Sofia and playing the guitar. Gardening was another talent of Judy’s; her patio was always full of beautiful plants. 
Judy was a loving mother to Dane and Kirsten, and an adoring "Grammie" to her three grandchildren. She passed on her passion for sports, music, and gardening to her children. Judy was blessed with many close and wonderful friends she made throughout her life at school, church, and work. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Jane. She is survived by her two children, Dane Johnson and Kirsten Fleet (Johnson), her three grandchildren, Amos, Hutch and Otis, and her brother, Daniel Hall.
Services for Judy will be held on Friday, June 14th at her home church: 
Santa Sophia Catholic Church

10:30 a.m.Rosary Prayer Service
11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass
12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Reception
Judy's ashes will be placed at the San Luis Rey Mission in a private family ceremony.
