Agnes Ada Hopf was born December 10, 1917, in Dolton, South Dakota. She married Herbert Hopf on September 22, 1935. They moved from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Sunizona, Arizona, in 1974. When her husband died February 21, 2000, she moved to Ramona to live with her son-in-law and daughter, Chuck and Renee Withrow.
After she was unable to sew and crochet, she enjoyed reading, doing word search puzzles and listening to gospel music. Agnes will be remembered for her beautiful smile and sweet personality. She never complained and appreciated everything that was done for her.
She is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Jerri Lee Hopf; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her 98 year old sister, Hulda Tschetter of Freeman, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, daughter, granddaughter and one sister.
Her cremains will be laid to rest in a family plot in Marion, South Dakota, on September 28, 2010.
