Barbara Rose Bernard

Barbara R. Bernard passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at her home with her family.  Barbara was home under hospice care and was at peace when she passed.  She is survived by her son John P. Bernard and her daughter Rose K. Pulera and her granddaughter Janel M. Pulera.

Barbara worked for many years for the New England Telephone Company in Boston, Ma, and after retiring moved to Ramona with her husband John Bernard to be close to her only grandchild.  She lived in Ramona San Diego Country Estates for 23 years.  Barbara enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and she loved to read her mystery books.  She will be missed by her family and friends. 

Once the current restrictions have been lifted in California, Barbara’s ashes will be placed with her husband John at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego.  The family requests that no flowers be sent at this time.
