Friend, Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother-All these roles she filled with each and every ounce of her being. With more joy, love, compassion, and understanding than you could believe were possible from any one person. True to herself until the end she refused to leave us until the final goodbye was spoken, the final touch was exchanged... ... ... ..well that and we changed the channel from NASCAR... ... ... and the final race was run.
She is survived by daughter Pearl Beam (Kenny), sons Rick Troyer (Lynnell), David Troyer (Lorie), 9 grand children, 1 great grand child, mother Annie McCann, brother Travis McCann, sister Judy Earner, and many nieces and nephews. Carolee was predeceased by her husband Lester, brothers Roy and Michael, sister Barbara Jean and father Frank McCann.
As per her request there will be no services. Donations are encouraged in honor of Carolee and Lester Troyer to American Lung Society, Grossmont Cancer Center and Sharp Hospice.
In closing her family would like to recognize the unbelievable care and compassion provided by her amazing hospice team.
