Craig D. McNeil, 56, of Ramona, California, died May 20, 2011 at Palomar Hospital.
He was born September 24, 1954, in Madison, South Dakota, the son of the late Duane F. McNeil and JoAnn McNeil.
He was a Registered Civil Engineer, receiving his degree from San Diego State University.
Prior to moving to Ramona, Craig lived in Gardnerville, Nevada and was very active in his church there. He loved fishing, playing the guitar and singing.
Craig is survived his mother JoAnn McNeil of Ramona, CA; sister and brother-in-law Steve and Tricia Lambert of Ramona, CA; niece and husband Stephanie and Steven McKay of Temecula, CA; niece Shannon Lambert of Ramona, CA; great-nephew Logan McKay of Temecula, CA; and his many friends and extended family at both Trinity Lutheran, in Gardnerville, NV and Ramona Lutheran in Ramona, CA.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Bonham Bros. & Stewart Mortuary, 321 12th Street
Ramona, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.
