Edgardo P Benevides

Our beloved father passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with family on August 23, 2022.  He was born on the Azores Islands and emigrated to America in 1965 with his young family and settled in Massachusetts.

He came to Ramona in 1977 and never left.  He loved Ramona.  He owned and ran a cabinet shop with his son for decades and left a legacy of craftsmanship, honesty, and integrity.

He was loved by all those who knew him.  He is survived by daughter Alice and sons Paulino, Marcelino, Edgardo Jr., and Florencio and three grandsons.

There will be a viewing at Bonham Bros & Stewart Mortuary and Cremation Service on Tuesday, September 6th from 4pm to 7pm.  The Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Ramona on Wednesday, September 7th at 10:30am with burial immediately following at Nuevo Memory Gardens in Ramona.
