Edward Robison, beloved husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in Ramona, California, on October 18, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Born in Amarillo, Texas, Edward later moved to Southern California, where he proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He spent 30 years as a police officer in Los Angeles, dedicating his career to public service and community safety.
After retiring from law enforcement, he worked as a Regional Director for the Recording Industry Association of America’s Anti-Piracy Unit and later founded his own private investigation firm, C&E Investigations.
Edward is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn; children Shawn, Jennifer (Brenton), and Jason (Courtney); and grandchildren Melody, Brayden, and Joyce.
A devoted animal lover—especially of Shih Tzus—Edward will be remembered for his humor, integrity, and unwavering love for his family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Saint Agnes Church, 1140 Evergreen St., San Diego, CA 92106, with the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Edward’s memory.
