Jacqueline, “Jacque” Beck was born August 3, 1938 at Redwing Minnesota and passed peacefully at home on January 27, 2018.
Jacque moved to California in 1942 with her parents, Jacob and Alma Hahn, who came west to work in the defense plants at San Diego. Later, she lived at the Ivanhoe Ranch at which time she graduated from El Cajon High School in 1956.
She was married at Yuma, Arizona on August 10, 1957 and has made her home at Ramona since 1959. Here, she answered the fire phone for the old Ramona Volunteer Fire Department; was trustee of the Ramona Town Hall; secretary at Nuevo Memorial Gardens for twenty years and was President of the San Diego Genealogical Society.
She was always ready, willing and able to help anyone find their family roots. She cherished Christmas and the Christmas parties with old friends at the Sizzler and later at Town Hall.  In her final days, she loved to watch the roadrunners and rabbits come into the yard and the birds gather at the birdbaths. 
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Darrell, son Danny, Step-Daughter Janette Imbrescia, and an aunt and several cousins.
There will be a visitation on Monday, February 12th from 11:00am to 1:30pm at Bonham Bros & Stewart Mortuary Chapel.  Burial will be following at 2pm at Nuevo Memory Gardens.
