James Garrett King of the Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel passed away on April 22, 2024 at his home on the Santa Ysabel Indian Reservation at the age of 55.
Jimmy was a risk-taker and a heartbreaker, full of character, always looking for his next adventure and constantly bringing a smile to the faces around him. Although Jim was a wild and ornery man, he had an immense amount of love for his friends and family and held a special place in his heart for his dogs and cat, Shamous.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his Parents: Larry & Joan King, Sisters: Pam Pollard and Jody King Enniss, Grandparents: Phil & Mabel Chandler and Frances Gilliand.
He is survived by his Wife: Kelly King, Brother and Sister-in-law: Justin & Dawn King, Sister: Cynthia Reid, Nieces and Nephews: Thomas Osuna, Bibiana & Raisin Herrera, Carolyn & Chris Stalcup, Tawny Osuna, Temika, Patience, Cody & Shania King, Thirteen Great-Nieces and Nephews, & Three Great-Great-Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside Services and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 @ 11:00 am at the Woods-King Family Residence on the Santa Ysabel Indian Reservation (Volcan Mountain).
Bonham Bros. & Stewart Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
