James was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 31, 1924. He passed away, at his home in Ramona, February 3, 2011. He had lived in San Diego County for the last 45 years. James was an Insurance Broker for 50 years and a devoted Roman Catholic.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeanne, and eleven children, Barbara (Bob) McGuigan of Ladera Ranch, CA, James (Molly) of Australia, Dennis (Margo) of Louisville, KY, T.G. of Poway, CA, Thomas (Susan) of Carlsbad, CA, Dean of Ramona, CA, Mary (Bill) Pitino of Poway, CA, Sheri (Dave) Carter of Escondido, CA, Bonnie (Jack) Harrington of Poway, CA, Patti Long of Carlsbad, CA and Brian of Idaho. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held on February 8, 2011 at 10am with recitation of the rosary at 9:30am, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Ramona. A luncheon at the family home will follow Mass. Burial will take place, following the luncheon, at 2:30pm, Dearborn Memorial Park, Poway.
