Jerald S. Kelly, 56, passed away on January 4, 2011. A resident of Ramona since 2006 he was a plumbing contractor by trade for almost 30 years and had a great love for fixing cars and loved inventions. He loved to talk to people and was very optimistic about life. He loved to cook, enjoyed gardening, travel and meeting new friends in every walk of life. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, deepsea fishing and playing golf. He likes to play tennis and raquetball. Jerald was a very good swimmer and enjoyed racquetball and tennis. He was a very good dancer (mainly Salsa and Cha-Cha) and loved to sing with karaoke. He was a man of good character and loved by everybody.
He was a very loving and faithful husband to his wife and a very kind and supportive father to his kids. Jerry leaves behind his wife of ten years, Victoria Kelly. They had been sealed in the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for time and eternity. He also leaves five children from a previous marriage, Jerald Scott Jr., Diana Marie, Shaun Robert, Ryan Christopher, Kristen Larie, as well as three grandchildren.
He was once a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 21 and most recently a member at the Mira Mesa 3rd branch. A servant of God and of his fellow men, he loved to attend the Temple and Church activities. He will be remembered by his families and friends forever for he has touched their lives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ramona. Viewing will begin at 8:30am until service time at 10:00am. Burial will follow services at Nuevo Memory Gardens, Ramona. Bonham Bros. & Stewart Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
