Josephine Louise Sciarretta

Josephine Louise Sciarretta of Ramona, California, went home to God on October 2, 2010. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Jo was born on December 30, 1918 in Waterbury, Connecticut, to the late Joseph and Florence Iapaluchi. Jo and her husband, Pat, moved their family to Ramona, California in 1947. There she raised her children and spent many years working for Bell Telephone. Outside work, her interests included reading, doing crossword puzzles, and playing cards. Jo most cherished the time she spent with her family. Nonnie, as she was affectionately known to all, is survived by her sister, Anna, her son Joe and his wife Candy, daughter Patsy and her husband Mike, as well as grandchildren, Henry, Marci, Michael, Mark, Patrick, Anthony, Andrea, and Allison and her eleven great-grand children . She was preceded in death by Pat, her husband of 62 years, daughter Louise, grandchildren Deanne and Devin, and sister Mildred.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 2-3pm with a memorial service from 3-4pm, Bonham Bros. & Stewart Mortuary Chapel. A Funeral Mass will take place Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10am, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Final interment will follow Mass at Nuevo Memory Gardens.
