Kevin Montgomery Birse, resident of Ramona, California passed away suddenly on March 23, 2011. He was 22 years old. Kevin was born and raised in San Diego, California. At age 5 Kevin moved with his family to Ramona, California.
As a little boy Kevin was known as the "Animal Whisperer" by friends and family because he never encountered a creature that did not adore him. Growing up his room was filled with aquariums housing snakes, spiders, rats and all sorts of other creatures.
Kevin attended kindergarten through 12th grade in the Ramona school system, where he accelerated in studio art and culinary arts. After graduation Kevin attended Palomar College where he learned the art of glass blowing and his beautiful artwork decorates the homes of many friends and family members. He also continued his love of cooking at home, making fabulous dishes for his family.
Kevin was a lover and critic of movies and could spend hours discussing cinematography, actors and quoting hilarious lines from his favorite films. He also loved going to the beach, river and desert and spent as much time as possible in nature. Kevin was also a music enthusiast and his tunes could regularly be heard bump’n out his bedroom window.
Kevin had an infectious laugh that could be heard from a mile away and a kind heart that considered everyone he met a friend. He was one of those people who could see the good in absolutely everyone.
Kevin is survived by his Mom & Dad; Joni & Alan Birse, his sister and brother-in-law; Heather & Zac Howard, his grandparents; Alan & Jodi Birse, Richard & Marty Coxe and many other friends and family.
