Kevin James Collier

Kevin James Collier, of Ramona, passed away August 21, 2011. Born March 22, 1979 in Torrance, CA Kevin moved to Ramona in 1985. He was a graduate of Ramona High School in 1997. He was active in 4H and the Ag Dept at RHS. He always had a special love for animals and most recently had bred English Mastiffs. He was a farmer at heart and at one time or another raised steer, chickens, turkeys, goats, emus and pigs. Kevin also had a great enjoyment for the water and spent a lot of time at Lake Havasu, AZ with his boat. At 20 yrs old Kevin entered the low voltage industry and was most recently a Project Superintendent for Low Voltage Integrated Systems. He had recently moved back from New York, to be close to family, where he had worked in the same industry for TSS Integrated Systems, Inc.

On June 22, 2010 the love of his life was born, his daughter Rhilee Jean Collier, who he affectionately referred to as “Princess”. They could be seen many a Saturday for breakfast at Ramona Cafe. He cherished his little girl who also passed away August 21, 2011 and is forever in his heart.

Kevin is survived by his mother Juanita Ward Collier of Ramona, father Robert Collier of Stayton, OR, his brothers Kris (fiancee Kristen Kershek) Collier of Ramona, Kyle Collier of Escondido, Korey Collier of Ramona and half-sister Lindsay (Neil) Gomez of AZ.

A memorial service for Kevin and Rhilee, will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2pm, Mountain View Community Church, Ramona, corner of Hwy 78 and Ash St. Pastor Dave Dechape officiating.
