Maria Alice Benevides

Maria Alice Benevides passed away on 03/15/2021 at the age of 87. Our loving mother was born on April 12th, 1933 in the Azores Portugal and came to this country in July 1966 with her husband Edgardo Benevides and five children.  They settled in Massachusetts and then came to Ramona Ca, in 1977. They have called Ramona home for the last 44 years.
 
Our mom Maria Alice was a loving, kind devoted wife and mother.  She was a seamstress and loved to cook as well as garden & crochet . She was a devout Catholic and God fearing woman.  Maria Alice left behind her loving husband of 65 years and four sons and two daughter in laws and an only daughter as well as four grandchildren.  She was very loved by all who knew her and she will forever be deeply missed. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 24th at 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Ramona.  She will be laid to rest immediately following at Nuevo Memory Gardens in Ramona.
