Nolan Ray Wynn Sr.

June 23, 1940 ~ May 25, 2023 (age 82) 82 Years Old

Nolan Wynn Sr. Obituary

Beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Nolan Ray Wynn Sr. was born and raised in Waco, Texas. He attended North Texas State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in history and a minor in business studies.  Later he received his master’s degree from Pepperdine University in California with a degree in public administration. 

Nolan was a dedicated teacher and administrator at the Julian Union High school for 33 years.  Nolan retired in 1998 after a long and dedicated career teaching children. During his tenure he taught business studies, math, business, business law, computer science, typing and coached football for many years.  In retirement Nolan enjoyed walking, exercise, winters in Yuma Arizona where he made many friends from all over the US and Canada.  He loved his family and friends and always wanted to help educate people.

 Nolan is survived by Wife Joan Wynn, Children Nolan Marvin (Marv) Wynn (Casey Wynn), John O’Keith Wynn (Jen Wynn), Rhonda Ramsey (Tim Ramsey), and Nolan Wynn (Rob) Jr. (Caty Wynn). Grandchildren: Daniel Edwards, David Williams, Sarah Hileman, Kailey Fox, Sierra Wynn, Brittney Smith, Kyle Kinney, Sydney Wynn, Lexi Wynn and Tessa Wynn, and 12 Great Grandchildren and a host of many nieces, nephews and friends.
