Fenton (Bennett), Patricia Ann, 82, of Ramona, Ca, San Diego Country Estates, (formerly of Lincoln, NE) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, January 18, 2011. Pat was born in Topeka, Kansas October 12th, 1928.
Survivors: son John Fenton, Astoria, OR, daughter and son-in law, Sue & Jim Stenstrum, Fair Oaks Ranch, CA, and daughter and son-in-law, Liz & Jeff Kohout, Lincoln, NE. grandchildren: Zoe & Emma Fenton, Jackie Wright, Kelli & Tess Kohout, and great-grandchildren, Max & Emmett Wright. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill.
Pat was a homemaker and volunteered for a variety of organizations in Lincoln, NE from 1948 to 1984. She modeled for Hovland Swanson and Old Towne Ltd. from 1961 to 1974. She and her husband Bill moved to San Diego Country Estates in 1988 where she served as president of the San Vicente Women’s Golf Association, and was a member of the golf club. She was also active in the Valley club, and other local women’s groups.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 10:00am at the First Congregational Church of Ramona, 404 8th St, Ramona, CA 92065. Interment will take place at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma, CA.
