Robert “Bob” Leslie Currier, 93, of Ramona, California went peacefully to be with Jesus, at home, with his wife by his side, March 17, 2026. He was born and raised in Plymouth, New Hampshire. After graduating from Plymouth High School in 1951, Bob joined the Navy, serving four years during the Korean War. Following his military service, he returned to New Hampshire where he began his 33-year career with the US Forest Service. He worked along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway between Conway and Lincoln, NH. He also made and mapped trails in the White Mountain National Forest. Bob transferred to San Diego County, CA working in the Cleveland National Forest. Later in his career, he was foreman at the Goose Valley Station in Ramona, CA.
Bob is survived by Kae “Katie”, his beloved wife of 45 years and best friend; Brother, Hazen (Ellen) Currier, North Berwick, Maine; Sons, Bob Currier, Jeff (Cindi) Currier of Conway, NH, Jim (Michelle) Bisher, and Dan (Kendra) Bisher of Ramona, CA; Grandchildren, Kristina, Daniel, Curtis, Nicole, Amanda, Adam, Zachary, Tim, and Felicia; 11 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
Bob is predeceased by his parents George and Evelyn (Mack) Currier; Brother, Richard Currier; and Sister, Barbara (Currier) Wiggins.
Bob and Katie traveled all around the US with their travel trailer for several years, visiting family, friends and places of interest. Bob will always be remembered for his love and generosity, forgiving spirit, and his one-of-a-kind smile.
The Currier Family would like to thank the Sharp Rees-Stealy Hospice of San Diego, CA and the VFW & American Legion of Ramona, CA for all their loving care and support. A family celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
The family gratefully appreciates your kindness and memories being shared on the tribute wall in lieu of flowers or memorial trees.
