Steven Earl Kaster, of La Mesa, was born February 28, 1956 in Hillsboro, OR and passed way April 15, 2011 in San Diego County.

Steve’s passion was the arts shared by technology. He was a 30 yr member of IATSE Local 122, Stage Hand’s Union.

Steve is survived by his wife Lavinia, sisters Vicky (Jim) Patterson of Santee, CA, Patty (Paul) Tochtrop of Lake Havasu, AZ, brother Lloyd (Debbie) Kaster of Ramona, CA, 5 nephews, 4 nieces, 4 grand nephews, 1 grand niece, his beloved, 15 yr 4-legged companion Treat and Steve was predeceased by his parents Doris and Lloyd Kaster.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011, Ramona United Methodist Church, 1pm.
