February 6, 1923 – April 1, 2010 Bill Clark passed away on April 1, 2010 at the age of 87. He was born on February 6, 1923 in Macon County, TN to Barney and Christine Clark. Bill loved his country with all his heart and was fiercely patriotic. A disabled veteran he served in the US armed forces during WWII and Korea. Bill was an active member of several local Masonic Lodges during his lifetime. He was also elected to serve three terms on the Board of Directors of the Ramona Municipal Water District. Serving as President of the Board in 1997-98. He enjoyed nothing more than helping others. He asked for a little but gave generously to his family and friends. He was an inspiration to everyone who knew him and will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Alice Clark, his children Jo Ann Holmes, Diane Fowler, Charlene Brinson and William Clark, Jr., seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A graveside service, with military honors, to commemorate Bills' life was held on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Nuevo Memory Gardens in Ramona. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
