Yolanda, known to her relatives and friends as Yoly, passed away during the early morning of June 15, 2010, at her home in Ramona, CA. Yolanda was 83 years of age having been born in 1926 in Manila, Philippines. She was preceded in death by her father, Alejandro Porcuna and mother Maria Yzquierdo Porcuna.
Alejandro was born in Batangas, Philippines in 1898 and died in 1939 in Manila. Maria was born in 1910 in Manila and died in Huntington Beach, CA in 1979. Yoly had two brothers and two sisters, of which the surviving sister, Pilar Wolfe, lives in Rancho Bernardo. She was married to John G. Rafto in Honolulu, HI in 1971. John retired from Federal Civil Service in 1974 and they moved from Honolulu to Ramona at that time. Two step-sons, Bjorn and Stein, also mourn her passing. John passed away in Feb 2003.
