Nicki Anne Galik

1952 – 2013

Nicki Anne Galik, 60, of Ramona passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 21, 2013.  Nicki, a native of Parkersburg, West Virginia was born along with her identical twin sister Nancy, on August 18, 1952.

On January 30, 1982 Nicki married her beloved Milton and together they raised their daughter Aubrie.  In addition to Milton and Aubrie, she also leaves behind her grandson Jayden Allen Fleet, her twin sister Nancy, brother Mike and an extended family throughout Southern California.

Nicki was a dedicated wife, mother and Nana.  Her family was her life.  Through the years she supported her husband’s career in the bowling industry as he worked in Long Beach, Needles and San Diego.  She loved to play the nickle slots at Barona and spend time with her husband watching sports.  She was a great softball player in her youth and an avid bowler throughout her life.  They had a time share in Palm Desert which the whole family loved and together they spent vacations there for twenty years.

She loved her family dearly and they will miss her greatly.  Please join the family at a Memorial Service for Nicki on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 3pm at the Bonham Bros & Stewart Mortuary Chapel in Ramona.

Bonham Bros. & Stewart Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family.

  9. Milly and Art Anderson :

Such a tragedy. Nicki was too young.
She will be remembered fondly. When Milt, Nicki, and Aubrie lived in Long Beach were the years that our family became the closest. She loved her family dearly. Her dependence upon Milt the last few years of her life made it difficult for her to be an active part of larger family get-togethers, but she always loved to hear about the happenings. Jayden was a highlight to her. She will be missed not only by her immediate family but by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

  10. Nancy Gonsalves McGhee :

I met Nicki when the Galik family moved to San Diego. She was a kind hearted, spirited girl. She loved her family and friends beyond all there inperfect situations. She was as good as she could be. I had some very fun times with her. I am happy she is pain free and in a place where only good can finally come to her. Ill miss you Nicki..you were one of the good ones..Love, Nancy
