Even though we know something is going to happen it still hurts and maybe even a little more. Dick is in a great place now with Uncle Pat, Aunt Donna, Jim and Bonnie. Our prayers are with Kathy and the family at this said time. RIP Dick. You were a great man and leave a great family behind, a legacy you can be proud of.

14For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the LORD's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the LORD, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the LORD himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air. And so we will be with the LORD forever."

I will always remember Dick as someone who walked in the Spirit and so the fruit of the Spirit was evident in his daily walk with Jesus. He was kind, compassionate, and gentle. He loved his Lord, his family, and his church.

Prayers of blessings of comfort to his family. Kathy, I love you and I pray God fills you with his peace.

Please accept our most sincerest condolences. Our prayers are with you and your family. May God grant your family strength an serenity through this difficult moment your family is enduring. God has promised us that we will soon be reunited with our loved one. "There is going to be a resurrection," the Bible confirms at Acts 24:15. "Do not be amazed at this, "Jesus assures as, "for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out"-John 5:28,29

I know that we will see Dick again. I have so many cherished memories of him that I don't know where to begin. I am grateful for knowing such a man who's service in the Lord was shown in so many ways, with gentleness and perseverance, and how much he loved his family and the people of the church. I will always aspire to approach whatever job I do, for the Lord, just as he did.

I will not be making it to his memorial, I just started a new job. Kathy, I love you and I pray God comforts you. Blessings to the whole family.
