I was a high school classmate and good friend. His father, Don, was a partner in Riverview Market in Redding with my stepfather, Harry Pflimlin.
Harry was an understanding and smart kid, even as a youngster.
When my mother and I first arrived in Redding his family treated us newcomers to a camping trip to Lake Shasta. We were 13 years old and had a 18 HP , 14 FT boat that we actually learned how to ski behind!!
I knew Harry and always admired his grown-up ability to grasp ideas quickly.
He was a great athlete . I played high school football with him.
Sorry to see a good man go.

Sincerely,

Bill Winsett

I was saddened at the news of Harry's passing. He was a classmate at Shasta High School, and the family attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church there. Kathie and I send our condolences to Harry's family. May he rest in peace.

So very sorry to hear and our prayers to Marcella and family. We are so glad a bunch of our classmates got to see Harry after our 50th class reunion. He was so
glad to be there and see everyone again, and shall always remember his "toast" to all of us there. RIP Harry, you were much loved by many of your fellow classmates and we shall miss you!
