Just heard this news and still a little in disbelief. Mark and your family played a great part in our girls lives and we appreciated his friendship. Years later, he drilled our well for us and we started up just where we left off - once a friend always a friend. Praying for you all as you learn to live without him in this life.

Growing up with Mark was never dull. Excitement followed Mark wherever he went and he was surely able to create his own excitement as needed. His incredible strength was never wasted on bullying anyone. Mark was genuinely kind, extremely funny and mechanically sharp - even in grade school and a great athlete. I was always proud to call him my friend. Truly a one of a kind person.
My sincerest deepest sympathy for your loss. Hopefully happy memories of Mark will cloud out your sorrow.

We have wonderful memories of the gentle giant that was Mark Thorson. He was someone that always made us laugh, was fun to be around and taught us to live life to the fullest. Mark will be sorely missed. We wish blessings and happy memories to the family he left too soon, but remember his example, as it was a great model.
